Paula got her Masters in Psychology in 1998 from the Spanish University Universidad Autonoma de Madrid. She began her psychodrama studies in 1996 in Madrid and became a certified psychodramatist in 2000 by the American Board of Examiners after completing her studies and training at St. Elisabeth’s Hospital in Washington DC.

GERMÁN PERILLA

MANSON’S BEE INITIATIVE DIRECTOR

Mason has 37 hives in the program, 12 of which are housed on the Fairfax campus and used in Perilla’s sustainable beekeeping classes. Through the Honey Bee Initiative, Perilla researches and promotes sustainable beekeeping in Northern VA and also provides outreach to rural communities in El Salvador, Peru and Colombia. In these communities, Perilla assists community members to establish their own hives which then provide environmentally sustainable sources of nutrition and income for their families.

TELEMUNDO WASHINGTON’S NEWS DIRECTOR

Rozman has received several awards in recognition to her job as a broadcaster, among them, the prestigious Emmy Award from the Television Academy or Arts and Science, and has conducted relevant interviews including President Barack Obama’s, whom Maria interviewed in exclusive, in two different occasions.  Maria arrived to the US in 1998, where she has had a successful career in news, working for the prominent Spanish TV networks Univision, Telemundo and most recently, CNN. Maria brings along extensive experience in media. She has held very important positions in the newsroom as News Director, News Anchor, Executive Producer and Correspondent. She also possesses deep understanding of the Hispanic community, its needs and challenges.

PABLO PARDO

US CORRESPONDENT OF EL MUNDO

Pablo Pardo is the US Bureau Chief of El Mundo, Spain´s second largest daily newspaper. Pablo earned his MA at the Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) at Johns Hopkins University and has remained in DC working for El Mundo ever since. He is the author of the book El Monstruo: Memorias de un interrogador (The Monster: Memoir of an Interrogator) about torture and the War on Terror. He is completing his PhD at the University of Navarra, with a focus on media agenda setting and the image of Spain in U.S. Think Tanks. He has won the Anthony Fisher Award by the Atlas Foundation, the Citi Excellent Award, by Citigroup, the Joven y Brillante (to financial journalists younger than 35), and the Cenetenrartio de la Seguridad Social, given by the Spanish Ministry of Labor.
